The tropical paradise of Indonesia has officially opened its doors to international visitors and we couldn’t be more excited! This beautiful archipelago is now fully open and ready to welcome you with open arms.
Entering Indonesia requires a valid visa or a stay permit; and travelers can apply for an eVisa before the trip. Meanwhile, foreign visitors from 43 selected countries can also enter Indonesia with the Visa on Arrival program.
For the full list of the countries, please read here. Furthermore, citizens from nine ASEAN countries can continue to enter Indonesia without a visa. Effective June 2023, authorities no longer require international travelers to present proof of COVID-19 vaccinations to enter the country.
Plus, there is no requirement to undergo PCR tests or quarantine for unvaccinated travelers. However, all foreign nationals planning to enter the territory of the Republic of Indonesia must carefully review and update their travel documents to ensure compliance with the entry requirements. This includes passport validity, return ticket, and visa.
List of the documents for your travel to Indonesia:
- Passport with at least 6 months validity
- B211A E-Visa – or cash or credit cards in case you are getting the Visa on Arrival available at some international airports
- Return or onward ticket (which indicates the date of departure from Indonesia)
- PCR test is no longer required to enter Indonesia if the traveler is fully vaccinated, but the airlines may have different requirements regarding PCR test
- Fill in Electronic Custom Declaration when you arrive
